Prominently featured on the 2025 Marine Corps League National Convention coin, and the 2025 Department of Texas Coin, the USS Texas was one of the most feared battleships in American History. When it was commissioned, it had the most devastating firepower than any other ship in the world.

It was used to quell many conflicts in its lifetime including WWI, WWII, and in Veracruz after many solidiers and Marines were injured and killed. Its crew of sailors and Marines have a storied history.

The USS Texas now lives permanently in Galveston, TX.
